Notes:
This is the UK 'tan label' 1st issue, with the 'Bizarre' USA 'MS-2075' matrix reference on the A-Side. (See BAOI & images). NOTE: The 2nd cat# in Format relates to this side. [This issue was followed in the UK by the 'Bobil-cut' A-Side (using yellow label), first with no 'W' logo, then with 'W' logo. All 3 issues have the 'Kipper-cut' on the B-Side. See: [r1741389 2nd UK issue A-Side mastered at Artisan Sound Recorders, California. On cover: "SNAT"*(by FZ's broken leg, protruding through car window): *"Any visual similarity between the cover of this album and the 'Uncle Meat' illustrated booklet [not to mention Ruben & The Jets is only slightly intentional and contains 4 secret clues". This cover also conveys the cruisin' for burgers Pachuco-style band - via the "LAS MOTHERS" reference - and the "RIFA" suffix to the title. (The 'Rifa' used in a 'posse' sense, as in The Toonerville Rifa. This 'Cholo' is credited within the unlaminated gatefold cover). All selections recorded live at Pauley Pavilion, UCLA, Los Angeles, August 7, 1971.
