Life In Tokyo, Extended Remix (7:06) was mixed in 1982 and overdubbed by the group.  This version also appears on the Japanese Singles 2CD set.  The sleeve has Sylvian in silhouette in the window of a room at the Keio Plaza Hotel, Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan.

There is a painting of Sylvian by Mulligan from the 80s band Fashion on the back sleeve.

There is also a UK 7" & Irish 7" version; catalogue number HANSA 17 both with a running time of (3:59). 

The b-side, 'Life In Tokyo Theme', is a slowed downmix which could be enjoyed at the usual speed if played on a 78rpm turntable.
